WV Parent Training and Information provides up-to-date information on special education, health care, related services, and events that meet the unique needs of individuals with disabilities, including children, youth, and their families.

This year, we are expanding our outreach to include parents and caregivers of children and youth of all abilities, ages 8 through 21.
The transition from high school to adulthood can bring a variety of challenges, and many families may feel uncertain about where to begin or what steps to prioritize.
We invite you to participate in the Guiding the Journey: CAPS to COMPASS: A Transition from High School to Adult Life Training Program for Parents and Youth, an initiative created by ‘lived experiences’ created to provide parents and youth with the knowledge, resources, and skills needed to self-advocate effectively and pursue meaningful, sustainable post-school outcomes.
